Wow that’s a wordy title. I actually just call it Hippie Water, haha. One of my friends (a self-proclaimed hippie) told me about this and it sounded amazing so I just had to try it!
I really don’t like cucumbers so I’m working on making the flavor more lemon-y, but it’s really good! Quite refreshing.
This water drink is SO good for you and has many benefits, including clearing up your skin and cutting belly fat.
I really need help in those two areas so that’s another reason I’m very excited about this drink.
I’ve committed to a “No Pop September” so I was interested in drink alternatives. Not only was this one delicious, but it’s also quite inexpensive.
Ingredients:
Water
Ice (optional)
1 Cucumber $0.99
1 Lemon $0.79
Mint Leaves $2.49
Instructions:
– Thinly slice the cucumber and lemon.
– Put Mint Leaves, Cucumber slices, and Lemon slices into a pitcher.
– Fill with water.
– Refrigerate for 4 hours / overnight.
– To save money, you can add water to these ingredients a few times before replacing them.
*** I did 3 cucumber slices, 6 or 7 lemon slices and 3 mint leaves,
but you can play around with the ingredients as much as you want. ***
I had a hard time with this because I really like exact recipes.
