5 Favorite Places to Buy Planner Supplies #5Faves

1. Target I love Target and I love their office section.  It's a great place for Post Its, Washi Tape, Stickers, Paper Clips, etc.  I'm there at least once a week so it's the most convenient place for me to shop for planner supplies. And if you have a Red Card, you can save 5% off everything just like I do. 2. Michael's / Hobby Lobby Both these stores have like three aisles of stickers.  In addition to all of those, there are Dicuts, Stationary, Post Its, Scrapbooking Stuff, … [Read more...]

- 1 - #Updates I survived all the things!  I had a great time at Jenn's bachelorette party and of course her wedding! You might notice my feet... the *only* complaint I have about my sister's wonderful day were those awful, awful heels (I don't wear heels... ever, but had to wear 3-4-inchers for the wedding).  Haha, don't worry: I was a giant baby about it! - 2 - The Best Foods of My LIFE! 7QT: Science Fiction & Artsy Stuff

- 1 - #Updates Tootsie Roll had his 1 year doctor appointment last week.  He's still doing well, but his weight is starting to taper off.  Our doctor says that's typical as they start to get more and more mobile.  He's happy and developing on track.  She asked me if he says any words yet, but he does not.  I guess I won't start to get concerned until he's 18 months if he doesn't have any words yet. One morning last week, I was nursing him early in the morning, and when he was done he saw … [Read more...]

A Tour of My Church

Who wants to see it??  I wrote my first guest post! Welcome to My Church! I *love* visiting other churches, so I’m thrilled to bring you an electronic tour of mine.  This is a fairly small church, but it’s full of beauty.  Enjoy! We’ve recently moved into our first house in a different town, and so we had to find a new parish.  Though I wouldn’t say it’s filled with a lot of young families/kids, it is certainly very family-friendly.  The usher seems to love us, at least!  Here’s what the … [Read more...]

Keeping Kids Active During Winter with Honey Maid Go Bites

We have been SOOO cooped up here in Chicago!!  Getting my kid to stay active has been a struggle since most days we can't even go outside.  We're using what we have available to us, though!  To combat cabin fever, we've been scheduling play dates, going to the library, walking around malls, and playing at McDonald's play places.  Our best gross motor activity to do while we're at home is Freeze Dance / having Dance Parties.  I just posted a list of 101 Free (or cheap) Winter Activities for Kids, … [Read more...]
