A Rambling Post on Teething and Tylenol

This is going to be a brain-dumpy post.  Fair warning. Tootsie Roll has started teething.  It actually started a few weeks ago.  I'm proud to announce that he has successfully teethed two teeth, his bottoms.  Those first teeth weren't too bad.  He had one or two rough nights, and even those weren't very rough. But now. His top teeth are coming in.  I don't remember Cupcakes' top teeth coming in RIGHT AFTER her bottoms!  As a nursing mom, I was hoping to wait a bit longer for the top teeth. … [Read more...]

DIY: Foaming Hand Soap

A few months ago, I found a pin to make your own foaming hand soap.  Since it saves a ton of soap and I love foaming soap, AND it was super easy, I made some. If I remember the pin correctly, all you do is fill a bottle a quarter of the way with hand soap and the rest of the way with very hot water, and shake.  Couldn't get any easier.  How much is generic brand hand soap?  Like $1.29 or something?  Now you can make it go 4 x as far!  That's practically nothing.  :) However, since I wanted … [Read more...]
