Dawn Dishwashing Wand

I bought one kind of on a whim on our last trip to Target.  I have been without a dishwasher for almost a year.  When we moved in, we thought all the appliances were working, but it actually doesn’t.  So, a few months ago, my Dad brought my parents’ old dishwasher over to replace it.  However, there’s a broken bracket or something so it’s still in the garage.

So I’ve been hand-washing dishes.  It’s pretty time-consuming, but not too bad.  With this wand though, it’s *almost* enjoyable.  It’s still a chore, but this wand is making it kind of fun!  I’m serious. There are other perks too!

My dishes are getting CLEANER!  Gross Warning: before I had this wand, my dishes would sit in the soapy water while I cleaned them.  As you might guess, by the end, the water was pretty dirty and my dishes weren’t getting as clean.  Now I don’t even stop the train, I just let the water run, scrub and rinse.  So they’re not sitting in gross water.

Another so-serious-point: I really think I’m going to save money on our water bill.  Like I said, I don’t even stop the drain, which means I don’t have to fill the sink with water, and then inevitably drain and refill to get clean water.  I’ll update if I do indeed save money.

Who else uses one of these babies??
