I had the pleasure of bringing my kids over to visit one of my very best friends at the end of last year, and she really wanted to make this delicious Apple Crisp recipe she found on the AllRecipes website. It was so simple and fun to make. Cupcakes even had a great time dumping in ingredients and stirring. This dessert is seriously so delicious, and it has oats and apples so it’s even kind of healthy (right??)! Serve it all by itself or with some vanilla ice cream. Then just try to stop yourself from getting a second helping… seriously, I dare you!
(10 cups – sliced, peeled, cored)
1/2 Cup Butter, melted
1/4 teaspoon Baking Soda
1/4 teaspoon Baking Powder
1 Cup Granulated Sugar
1 Cup packed Brown Sugar
1 Tablespoon Flour & 1 Cup Flour
1 Cup Quick Oats
1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
1/2 Cup Water
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Slice all your apples and remove the peel.
Place apple slices in a 9×13 pan.
Mix the white sugar, 1 Tablespoon flour, and ground cinnamon together.
Sprinkle the mixture over the apples, and add water evenly over all.
Combine the oats, 1 cup flour, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and melted butter. Sprinkle this mixture over the mixture that’s already in the pan.
Bake for 45 minutes.
