** I learned how to make these from The Frugal Girls blog **

Preheat your oven to 250 degrees.
Wrap ribbon around the dowel rods and hold them down with clothes pins

Line them up on a cookie sheet and bake for 10 minutes.

Remove from oven.
Cut each ribbon in half and then in half again.
(If you want smaller bows, just cut them more times.)
Run each end over a flame from the lighter so they don’t fray.

Use a needle and thread to sew through the stacks of ribbons & make the bows

I recommend using about 20 pieces of ribbon for a bulky enough bow.  However, I had waited until Halloween Day to make Cupcakes’ Batman Bows so I just did these really quickly.

I also usually wrap a piece of ribbon around the alligator clip (using hot glue), but again, no time.
So I just hot glued the korker bow right to the metal alligator clips.  And done!

I think these bows really add to the little girl Halloween costume!!  But they’re also great for everyday use.  These black and yellow bows are also perfect for when we attend my sister’s cheerleaders’ games because their team mascot are bees.

What was your favorite accessory from YOUR kids’ costume??
