Oh my gosh you guys!! You have to try these! They were super quick and easy to make and they were delicious. AND they have less than 1 TSP of added sugar each! (If you do it like I did it; I’ll explain in this post!*)

I found this idea on Pinterest:

Anyway here’s what to do.
Mini Apple Pies
(By the way my toddler, husband and myself LOVED these!!)
Ingredients
- Crescent Rolls
- 1 Apple
- 3 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
- 2 Tablespoons Cinnamon
1 Tablespoon Melted Butter
Method
Preheat Oven to 350 Degrees
Put foil on a cookie sheet and grease.
Mix Brown Sugar and Cinnamon together.
Core and slice and apple. (You need 8 slices.)
Layout crescent rolls, brush with the melted butter.
Sprinkle some of the Brown Sugar and Cinnamon mixture on each crescent.
Roll them up with the the apple inside.
Brush more butter on top and sprinkle more of the Mixture.
Bake for 18 minutes. Original recipe calls for 12-15 mins, but mine took longer.
*The mixture in this recipe has 9 teaspoons of sugar and the recipe makes 8 mini apple pies. I didn’t sprinkle an excessive amount of mixture on the crescents and had a lot of the mixture leftover. So I know there’s 1 tsp or less of sugar in each. There are some natural sugars in the apple, but that is not counted here.
If you make theses, let me know what you think!!
I’m guessing they’re going to become a staple in our home. :)
