5.) I love this one: sometimes Cupcakes is playing independently, while talking to herself. My ears will pick up when she starts chuckling about seemingly nothing and says, “Silly Cupcakes!” (Except instead of ‘Cupcakes’ she says her actual name, which I’m sure many of you have figured out by now, lol)
4.) She’s speaking in full sentence fragments now and they are so cute / funny! Here are some examples:
“Purple ball in the bucket”
“I want to play!”
“Cross Applesauce; Friends do that.”
3.) The other night we were trying to leave the house for a trip to Barnes and Noble. We kept telling Cupcakes ‘let’s go’ and ‘put your coat on’, but then she’d look up at Hobbs and say, “Finish writing, Daddy!”
2. So whenever Cupcakes hears noises outside our immediate apartment, she gets concerned about the “noise”, but we assure her it’s just our neighbors. I got a text from Hobbs while I was at work saying that she said “neighbors” and when he asked her what they were doing, she responded, “Making a sandwich.” Hahahaha!
1. This is one of my favorite new things she does…. she does this to her face:
… and then she says, “Mommy tries” -in this hilarious deep voice- meaning she wants me to do it too. So I do it back and it’s a little game we have. :) <3
